Once academics were stabilized, we started exploring options for all-round, holistic development. We have collaborated with different individuals and organizations across various fields to conduct workshops for the children. In 2018, we conducted a workshop almost every month. ·              "Theatre Workshop" was conducted by Mr. Dipesh Khushalani, who has years of experience in Nukkad Natak and street plays. The children learnt about various features an actor should be able to incorporate, like team-play and perspective, in theatre.

Parkshala   is a Noida-based NGO dedicated to transforming lives of children who hail from the lower strata of the society. We work as an after-school support group to bridge the educational & moral gap between these children and their affluent peers. Education is the primary source for children to keep their life in safe way. Every child deserves the best chance for a bright future. And that’s why we are fiercely committed to ensuring children not only survive, but thrive. At Parkshala™, we believe that anyone can make a difference no matter how old you are, 5 or 85. All you need is to be a human. A human who listens, understands, actions, and achieves. We could have been working in a 9 to 5 and adding to the family income, or fueling our own dreams. Today, Parkshala™ stands tall with 150 children and is rearing to grow its tribe. This is where we leave you with a simple question: You may have taken your flight, are you willing to help others fly in turn? We are aware that although India’s education sector has grown by leaps and bounds in the last few decades, many of her children still fail to receive a quality education. We know that children dream, only for some the thread is far too delicate. We are committed to strengthening this delicate thread by imparting them education because that is the only Brahmastra that can turn dreams into reality. Our lessons take place in community parks and halls because we are trying to utilize already available resources for this purpose. Our mission is to combine education with a holistic development that is concerned with the child’s intellectual, emotional, social, physical, artistic, creative, and spiritual potential. "My father runs a photocopy and printing shop. Since last year, the business is getting slower by slower. Our income has dropped down from INR 3 Lakh per annum to less than INR 2 Lakh p.a. . My father always wanted to give me the best of education. He tried to get me enrolled in schools like Kothari and Khaitan but they were unaffordable. Eventually, he got me admitted in Sunriseville in Sector-25 when I was in class II. . My teachers and parents put in a lot of effort to polish me so I could shine. The only way I could repay them was by studying.. so I did that. I secured 1st position from class VI-VIII. My Math teacher was exceptionally fond of me. . Last year, when the business dropped, we saw no other way but to leave the school. There was no way my family could've paid my fees.The bus fees contributed towards 30% of my fees.
