This little  # rockstar  is Yash. He's from our Salarpur branch. We've been binge watching his entire 2 minute video!  😍 😍 🔥 🔥 . Families of these children usually don't support  # dance  and  # art  because they don't see these as financially viable options. It's unfortunate that we've to convince them to let their Children's innate talents flourish.  🌸 . To let the kids know that their talents are appreciated, valued and loved; we are on a mission to support every kid who wants to work t owards his  # passion . Parkshala is a hub where any kid who's talented at anything -  # academics , arts,  # sports  - will be encouraged and given a platform to do what they love!  🤗 💕 . Once academics were stabilized, we started exploring options for all-round, holistic development. We have collaborated with different individuals and organizations across various fields to conduct workshops for the children. In 2018, we conducted a workshop almost every month. ·              "Theatre Workshop" was conducted by Mr. Dipesh Khushalani, who has years of experience in Nukkad Natak and street plays. The children learnt about various features an actor should be able to incorporate, like team-play and perspective, in theatre.

Reported crimes of violence against women and children in India are increasing. News of eve-teasing, molestation and rape have become commonplace. With children's safety in mind, we embarked upon a collaboration with Safe Campus, a self-defense organization with modules specially designed for children and teenagers. ·           Conducted once a week ·           Techniques taught to improve both mental and physical strengths ·           Boys are counselled and taught to not be perpetrators of such crimes and to stand up for the women/children against whom these crimes are being committed ·           Girls are counselled to defend and stand up for themselves and those around them

Today, Parkshala™ stands tall with 150 children and is rearing to grow its tribe. This is where we leave you with a simple question: You may have taken your flight, are you willing to help others fly in turn? We are aware that although India’s education sector has grown by leaps and bounds in the last few decades, many of her children still fail to receive a quality education. We know that children dream, only for some the thread is far too delicate. We are committed to strengthening this delicate thread by imparting them education because that is the only Brahmastra that can turn dreams into reality. Our lessons take place in community parks and halls because we are trying to utilize already available resources for this purpose.
